Service Description
Kent ISD provides secure server hosting and maintenance services for applications and systems that support district operations and staff needs. Our IT team can host and manage applications on centrally managed servers, allowing authorized staff and districts to securely access the resources they need. Services include server provisioning, operating system maintenance, performance monitoring, patch management, and ongoing technical support.
To ensure the security and reliability of hosted systems, all servers are protected with CrowdStrike endpoint detection and response technology to help prevent, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats. Hosted servers are also backed up using Rubrik, providing secure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capabilities to help protect critical data and minimize downtime.
Districts or departments requesting a new hosted application or server resource should submit a service request outlining the application requirements, intended users, and any necessary access or security considerations. Our IT staff will review the request and work with stakeholders to deploy and maintain the solution in a secure and reliable environment.
