Mitel phones allow the programming of buttons for multiple purposes. You have the ability to create and remove speed dial buttons, but other special button configurations must be requested from IT.
To configure a speed dial button,
- Press the options button.
- Enter your voicemail passcode.
- Use the arrow buttons to scroll down to the program buttons option.
- With program buttons selected, press the edit button.Press the button you would like to configure.
- Select dial number.
- Enter the extension or phone number you would like to configure for the speed dial button.
- Enter your preferred label for the button.
- Press done.
- You will have the opportunity to program another button. If you are done programming buttons, press the exit button twice.
To remove a button configuration,
- Press the options button.
- Enter your voicemail passcode.
- Use the arrow buttons to scroll down to the program buttons option.
- With program buttons selected, press the edit button.
- Press the button you would like to remove.
- Select call appearance.
- You will have the opportunity to program another button. If you are done programming buttons, press the exit button twice.
