Summary

Your network account password expires periodically. You can update your password using a computer connected to the internal network or via an internet browser from any location.

Before You Begin

Note: If you are changing your password via an internet browser, it may take up to 3 hours for your new password to sync and update on the Office 365 site.

Steps

Method 1: Using a Computer on the Kent ISD or Sparta Network

  1. Log in to your computer as usual.
  2. Once your desktop icons appear, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE simultaneously.
  3. On the blue screen options, select Change a password….

Method 2: Using an Internet Browser

  1. Open your internet browser.
  2. Navigate to the appropriate password portal:
  3. Enter your username in the username field (for example, enter JohnDoe, do not include the email suffix like @kentisd.org).
  4. Enter your current password.
  5. Enter your new password twice to confirm it.
  6. Select the Change Password button.

Expected Outcome

Your password is updated and can be used the next time you sign in to your network account.
