ContentKeeper - Block on Staff Device

Symptoms

You have received a ContentKeeper block page restricting access to a website.

Cause

The active web filter policy listed on the block page is "Default". This occurs when the device has not properly authenticated your user credentials with ContentKeeper.

Screenshot of a web browser displaying a web filter block page. The main header text reads, "Website Blocked by Content Filter." Below the header, smaller text explains, "Access to the requested website has been restricted by your network administrator due to corporate security and compliance policies." A prominent section displays the specific "Reason for block: Technology/Internet." At the bottom of the page, a small logo for "Securly" is visible on the right.

Resolution Steps

  1. Lock your computer screen (CTL+Alt+Del or Windows Key + L).
  2. Unlock your computer screen.
  3. If that does not resolve the issue, please reboot your computer.
Expected result: Unlocking your computer automatically transmits your username and password credentials to ContentKeeper, applying your proper network filter policy.
