Summary

You receive an email from Quarantine Digest. It is not a phishing email. It is a legitimate email from the Kent ISD email filter platform. It will list the emails that are in quarantine and did not reach your inbox. You can release emails that you need in most cases but some will require admin approval to release if there is a security concern.

Key Details

The ProofPoint Enterprise platform continuously monitors and filters incoming district mail. Key elements of the quarantine digest include:

  • Legitimate Source: These notifications are safe, system-generated logs of intercepted messages.
  • Message Management: In most cases, you can self-release messages directly from the digest to deliver them to your inbox.
  • Administrative Review: Certain messages flag specific security concerns and will remain held until approved by an administrator.
