Summary
If you receive a notification regarding a password compromise, your saved passwords for online platforms may be at risk. You can securely check which of your saved accounts have compromised passwords directly through your Google Account settings.
Before You Begin
Important: Do not use or click links contained within credential compromise notification emails. Navigate to your account settings manually using the steps below to ensure your security.
Steps
- Go to your Google Account settings.
- Select the Security tab.
- Navigate to the Password Manager section.
- Select Password Checkup.
Expected Outcome
The results will show you which saved passwords have been compromised and should be changed.
